Slime for Love on the West Coast
Little Critters in Love in the Forest
For anyone who grew up on the west coast, you know that banana slugs are just part of the landscape!
They come out when it's raining, especially in mossy groves when you're camping. If they find your garden, they'll just eat it all. Licking them makes your tongue go numb (don't ask us how we know), and when you touch their antennae, they suck them down into their heads—kinda gross and kinda cool.
You may be a pest, and kind of slimy, but I'm sending you slugs and kisses for Valentines this year. 💛
