Maybe A Whale — written by Kirsten Pendreigh and illustrated by me, is now swimming into bookstores! Woohoo! It's like a surprise party - the book's release date was supposed to be August 1st, but it looks like it couldn't wait to make its grand entrance! I still can't believe my eyes seeing it sitting on shelves in my fave bookstores.
It took me a year and a half to get it illustrated and published, and that's just my part of the deal. We haven't even talked about all the hard work Kirsten put in to write and edit the story! So much effort, but hey, great things take time!
